Skyward

Inspired by the visual energy of the sky and natural phenomena, this series explores how botanical materials can convey a sense of openness and lightness. Using the delicate structures of amaranth and reindeer moss, the works investigate how light interacts with volume and surface, creating subtle luminosity within organic matter.

Rather than representing the sky directly, the pieces evoke the experience of looking upward — that feeling of air, space and expansion. Earth-grown materials are used to express something weightless, creating a dialogue between grounding and elevation, matter and atmosphere.
